FIRE DAMPER KTM SMAY EI120 TOPIK

KTM fire dampers are designed to be installed in general ventilation systems as shut-off partitions, separating the fire zone from the rest of the building (normally open). The function of these dampers is to stop the spread of fire, temperature and smoke. Regardless of the position of the axis of rotation of the shut-off partition (i.e. at the angle of inclination of the axis 0÷360°), the dampers are designed for horizontal (in walls) and vertical (in ceilings) and outside the partition. KTM's flaps meet the EIS120 fire resistance classification. This means that they meet the classification criteria for fire tightness, insulation and smoke tightness within 120 minutes. KTM shut-off dampers can also be installed in building partitions with a lower fire resistance class than EI120.  In the case of such an application, the above-mentioned dampers have a fire resistance equal to the fire resistance of the partition, while maintaining the smoke tightness criterion. The effectiveness of the dampers is confirmed by tests according to the PN-EN 1366-2 standard .
